Unforgetable Experience!
I highly recommend this show if you are looking for something special to enjoy during the Christmas season with your family, friends, date, or just on your own.
The Nutcracker at the fox has become a tradition for my entire extended family, and it is just as great as the year before.
For small children, the rats could be a little scary at first, but they turn out to be funny and playful rather than an intense fighting scene. It does start a little slow with the party scene. I suggest perhaps feeding your little ones and buying them a snack before they sit down for the show. The intermission is at a perfect time, and a musician plays holiday music on the organ. The restroom lines do lengthen quick!
Just hang on until the second act if you are feeling the show is boring for the first act; it will take your breath away. The Fox really makes the show even better. There is an older historical theater with lots of comfortable seats. If you walk down right near the stage and look up, you will see the sky with twinkling stars(fake of course but very cool none the less). The second act consists of great music, wonderful costumes, an awesome cast, and LOTS OF HUMOR!! There is a mixture of men and women in group dances and duets. Overall LOVED IT!
